The Posbank is a monumental bench and an adjacent tea house located in the southern part of the Veluwe region near Rheden in the Dutch province of Gelderland. The Posbank is colloquially also used to refer to the hilly heathland area where it is located, but this area is actually called the Herikhuizerveld. The bench is situated at an altitude of 90 meters above sea level in the Veluwezoom National Park, with a view over the Herikhuizerveld, the IJssel Valley, Arnhem, the Achterhoek region, and the Liemers region all the way to Germany. For comparison, the highest point in the Veluwe region is the nearby Signal Imbosch (110 m). The inn that used to be located at the Posbank was destroyed in a fire in 1996. In 2002, Natuurmonumenten (Dutch Society for the Preservation of Nature) had a new tea house (Pavilion de Posbank) built according to a sustainable design.
